What a bunch of jokers, Surely the meeting should of happened weeks ago if not straight after we were relegated??? In the mean time the exidous continues, Now we lose Courty to Chippenham and it looks like our leading goalscorer and many more experienced players to leave as well!!! I think by the time they have decided that Mogg should continue he will be left with hardly any players at all. Lets face it Mogg will get the job, Wacko will stay as chairman as he is not going to change and probably still thinks he did the right thing by getting rid of Thommo!!!

I would just like to say good luck to Courty with his move to Chippenham in my opinion he has been outstanding in all the years he has been with us and don't blame him one bit for going to a club with more ambition and probably a chairman who knows what he is doing!!!

I am sure we will never know the full truth behind the crazy sacking of Thommo and I will never understand the reason behind appointing someone who clearly was not up to the job of keeping us up and now looks odds on to be the man to revive the clubs fortunes. So as much as it pains me to say it as being a supporter of over 25 years having watched my first few games over Sunnyside Lane I will continue to stay away and watch from afar as I can't support a committee who clearly have lost the plot.

I'll see you on the far post

Not until the right decision is made!!! BRING BACK THOMMO!!!!!!!

Afternoon all - my first post on bluebell banter.

Just to let you know 'Lodge Road Four' that Courty has signed for the Mango's not Chippenham :D :D

Hi Daveyboy,

Welcome to BB.

Nice to have fans from teams that finished lower than us on here, which basically puts you in a category of your own.

Courty finished at Yate the day Thommo left. I think he's better signing for a regional SL team than a Premier one as he will probably take time getting back into the swing of things after his injury.

I hope he doesn't play against us as we won't be able to take the piss like we usually do with Mango keepers.......it just wouldn't seem right to do that to Courty somehow!

Nice to be here Yatesman. I thought you'd be happy I joined - it pretty much doubles the amount of users and will give you someone to talk to rather than rambling on to yourself which pretty much seems the norm around here!!!!!

We may have finished lower than you this season but i have to say that things are looking alot more stable over at Cossham Street than they do at Lodge road. We have a manager who is communicating with fans and the public alike, we have already signed up a new goalkeeper and generally there is a new feel to the place which is more than I can say for Yate - a club in crisis!! A manager no-on wants and a chairman everyone hates!!

I'll try to keep things negative when visiting as I know from your postings over on Mangos mouth that you think my "unfettered enthusiasm and positivity" are misguided!!!! :D

Things are looking more stable at Cossham St..or.........you are just prepared to accept the bullsh*t a bit more readily than most !

As for everyone hating Jacko...........I don't know anyone who hates Jacko. That's the wrong word to use. You may not know him personally but we all do and no-one hates him. Disagrees perhaps, but that's totally different from hating him.

Anyhow, Yate are hardly a club in crisis, Merthyr and Halesowen are in crisis. Yate are a club whose supporters are asking questions after being relegated............quite frankly I would have to question the mentality of supporters of a club that have been relegated that aren't prepared to ask searching questions.
After all football is about winning, improving and achieving..not getting relegated.

As for posting negatively on here............that's up to you, but funny how after just two posts I've been able to influence how you behave!!

But let's not let things get personal, Daveyboy, I've had all that before with people, and they always come worst off......just stick to the football, after all this is a football forum........and just try to accept that not everything your club does is brilliant and wonderful and everything we do is all bad and awful........we're not so different!
