At least a decision has been made.

It's frustrating that everytime I look at the yatetownfc website there is just no news. There's no news page and the home page is not used by the chairman/committee/manager to communicate to the fans. Even the comments page says 'Module has not been configured. ..'

ok, let's wait and see what side is built and make a judgement at the end of the season. So what will constitute a successfull season, promotion?

I think I read Mangotsfield are going to have 18 first team players. It got me thinking how many we will have this coming season?

Wow what a sursprise!!!??? The committee show no sign of leaving and they make an inspirational choice of new manager in Dave Mogg it must of taken seconds to conclude there meeting. Did they even consider other people for the job??? Sorry silly question of course they never that would be like common sense something there clearly don't have!!!

I can imagine there "meeting" going along the lines of something like this-

Wacko- "Right then Moggy you helped get us relegated, Showed no signs of improving the squad, And didn't inspire anyone when you were on the sidelines, Do you want the job for next season"???

Moggy-"Yep"

Wacko- "Ok see you in August, Now put that post-it in the bin with the minutes of the meeting on it don't want anyone knowing what we are doing"

Moggy- "See you in August"

Wacko- "Ok that was easy now we can concentrate on our game of cribb with our werthers orginals"

Still now the choice has been made expect more players to leave, A summer of no communication from anyone at the club and nothing really to change again!!! I predict a mid table finish and a very happy committee for next season, What a joke this club is turning in to!!!

I'll see you on the far post- No thanks!!!

Have to say, not what I was hoping for.
Surely there are other people who could have been considered or did nobody else fancy the job?
Standard of players brought in at the tail end of last season, with the exception of Sam Duggan, did not impress me nor did the tactics or the way the team would routinely fall apart in the last 15 minutes.
Love to be proved wrong but disappointed with decision.

Tell you anything, terr,....don't be so daft.

It's all top-secret , everything that happens or might happen at Lodge Road is all hush-hush ......unless 'THEY' find out.

Quite who 'THEY' are nobody has worked out, but it pays to be cautious.

One thing tho', it's not personal. I was chatting to a committee member who only found out about Moggy's appointment by reading the paper!

I think 'communication' may be another area that the club needs to work on. As for the website, it takes an age to log on and I can't usually be bothered to wait.......maybe Danny West has a bit of spare time he could put to good use!
