I called in when passing Lodge Road the other week to watch a Reserve game. What brilliant football was being played and a lot of new faces were on the pitch. Paul Dempsey's doing a great job managing the team. Does he need an assistant??

I've seen the reserves play a couple of times this season and have been impressed with their style of play.

Demo's doing a good job and also finding players who can slot comfortably into the 1st team squad, such as Jacob Cox recently.

The reserves are a very important part of this club and deserve recognition or the part they play in the well being of the club overall.

Apparantly it was Andy Matthias who brought Jake Cox and a number of others to the club, so I stand corrected.

Although tbh I don't personally care who brought them here but I can see it might matter to those involved.

One good performance doesn't make a great player though and I hope these players can find some consistency as that is the true hallmark of a great player.
